New Kindergarten families can meet other incoming Lead Mine families via the Kindergarten connection.
Once a month, activities are planned to allow new kindergartners and their families to meet other incoming kindergarten students and become part of the Lead Mine family. Some of the activities are at school, others are at locations nearby such as a yogurt shop and the neighborhood pool.

In order to attend kindergarten, children must be 5 years old on or before August 31 of the current school year. In accordance with state law, gifted children who are age 4 by April 16 also will be considered for admission. Rising Kindergarteners can pre-enroll beginning Jan. 7, 2013 at their assigned base school. More details...
